So yeah?

Hey everyone,

I'm fishin' for some info by way of updates here. What's up with everyone? Did you get a Spring Break? What did you do? What's up for the rest of your semester or trimester?

:) Oh and have a good day!

My new vocation

After spending some quality time with the Bedford Park Community this past weekend during our Easter break with much discernment both personally and with Br. Ed, I have come to realize my ornate gift and newfound lifes vocation as a tree trimmer!!!

Oh, I hope each of your communities and schools are having an action packed and energy filled end to the school year!

See you at debriefing

Party Details?

I am wondering what the details are for the Chicago Party after the Debriefing Retreat. I found a ridiculous fare (Southwest Airlines r/t Philly to Midway for $125) and I am wondering when to fly out on Monday. Does anyone have any details? Thanks!

By the way, for those of you with access to Southwest Airlines, I would suggest downloading Ding, a free service on that lets you know when Southwest has a clearance price, such as that $125 above! I have never seen it lower than $140 and have paid up to $280 for the same roundtrip.

crazy weeks always get crazier... i leave tomorrow for SPRING BREAK! woowhoo! and had to get a load of clothes washed... washed, no problem. dried, well not so much. our dryer was making a horrible rumbling sound, kind of as if it were about to launch or something. So, Br. Michael suggested I try the dryer in the basement of the rectory. Good idea, if it worked for more than 3 minutes... so, the pictures illustrate our new and improved dryer at Resurrection! Ah, community bonding.

Happy Easter All!

Hello people out there reading this!
I am wondering if anyone knows when we need to be in Chicago...
Is it on the Thursday or Friday? Hmmm...

Ok, have a good day!

Peace be with you.

The squeaky wheel...

I think we all recall my saga with Southwest Airline last month. Well here's an update:

On Monday, April 10th, I received an envelope from SWA. It was official-looking and from their HQ, so I rushed to open it. Inside was a 2-pg letter explaining that while my situation was not really unique, (especially when they reminded me of the weather that weekend) they were going to compensate me for my poor customer service experience. It turns out that there were some miscommunications in the company that weekend and it resulted in a lot of misplaced baggage. They wrote the letter very professionally and they addressed my specific concerns, so this was no 'form letter.'

Anyway, attached to the second page were three $50 gift certificates. I guess I'm $150 up now...thanks Southwest for taking care of your customers!

One of my students ran up to me during recess to show me where they had gotten hurt playing basketball. It seems he scraped the ground with his hand while going for the ball.

I asked him "What did you hurt?"
He proceeded to stick the middle finger up at me.
After regaining my composure, I told him to go wash it off and get a band-aid.

I love my kids!
